This is a new concept of barbecue. No longer a square or rectangular object (which, due to space constraints, has always forced a couple of "volunteers" to roast the food while the rest of the group "watched"), but a rounded tool (Nicola speaks of an "archaic shape inspired by ancient Greece") that allows everyone to cook their favorite food directly on stone or steel, over an "indirect" or "direct" flame, sitting in front of the fire, enjoying every moment of conviviality and conversing amicably with the rest of the group.

Urchick, Rotary International President 2024/2025, and it is this principle that inspired the Mediterranean Peace Stele made of lava stone by the master Nicola Dell'Erba, which will be unveiled on Sunday 10 November 2024.
