Foku is an outdoor cooking system made of Etna lava stone and Corten steel, designed for outdoor use.
Before use, read these warnings carefully and always follow the instructions in the use and maintenance guide.
Foku must be used exclusively in outdoor, open and well-ventilated spaces.
Do not use Foku in closed spaces, garages, closed verandas, internal rooms, tents or spaces that are not adequately ventilated.
Using fire, embers, coal or wood indoors can generate dangerous fumes and gases.
Place Foku on a stable, flat, weight- and heat-resistant surface.
Do not place the product near flammable materials, curtains, delicate furnishings, dry plants, rugs, heat-sensitive walls, or easily damaged structures.
Before installation, check that the space is adequate for the weight, dimensions and use of the product.
Foku requires no masonry work, special connections, or structural interventions. It is designed to be installed as easily as possible, following the instructions provided.
During use, the lava stone, grill, Corten tank and accessories can reach high temperatures.
Do not touch hot parts with bare hands.
Use heat-resistant gloves and suitable utensils.
Never leave Foku turned on or with the embers active unattended.
Keep children and pets at a safe distance.
Do not move Foku while in use or when it is still hot.
Use only fuels suitable for outdoor cooking, such as charcoal, briquettes, or firewood suitable for cooking.
Do not use alcohol, petrol, solvents, flammable liquids or unsuitable products to light or rekindle the fire.
Do not pour flammable liquids on already lit embers, coal or wood.
Do not overload the tank with excessive amounts of fuel.
The lava stone accumulates heat and releases it gradually.
Avoid sudden thermal shocks.
Do not pour cold water or cold liquids on the very hot stone.
Do not place frozen food directly on the hot stone.
Do not artificially cool the stone with water, ice or other forced systems.
Any variations in color, surface, or appearance of the stone are natural and related to use, heat, and the nature of the material.
Use only grills and accessories compatible with Foku.
Before use, check that the grills, supports, tripod, rotisserie, lid and other accessories are correctly positioned.
Metal accessories can become very hot during use.
If you have a raiseable grill, lift or move the grill only with care, using heat-resistant gloves or tools.
Allow the fire to die down completely naturally and wait for it to cool completely before cleaning or removing the ash.
Do not throw hot ash into plastic containers, bags, unsuitable bins or near flammable materials.
Before disposal, always check that there are no active embers present.
Use the lid only as directed by Foku and only when the conditions of use allow it.
Do not cover Foku with permanent waterproof covers when the product is hot or when there is retained moisture.
Improper covering can retain moisture, hinder the natural oxidation of the Corten and encourage deposits on the stone.
Clean only when the product is completely cold.
Clean the lava stone with water, a cloth, or a non-aggressive sponge. For more stubborn residue, you can use a gentle solution of water and vinegar.
Do not use aggressive chemical detergents, industrial degreasers or products not suitable for contact with cooking surfaces.
Keep grills and accessories dry after cleaning.
